This is an institution for a reason. The owner is a warm and welcoming uncle. He patiently explains different items to customers. I bought lavash, schug, and labneh. Finished them in a week. Protect this place at all costs!

The pastries, both savory and sweet, are absolutely delicious. Particularly noticed how the baklava manages to be coated in honey without making the sweetness overpowering. On top of that, the person behind the counter was so kind and provided a recommendation as it was our first time in. Overall an amazing neighborhood spot that still fully welcomes newcomers, and some of the best pastries you’ll find anywhere. Not to mention truly shockingly affordable (we paid 11 for two savory and two sweet treats). Highly recommend to all.
